Our client is part of the new generation of energy supply businesses built on a new foundation of smart technology alongside energy retail. The traditional utility model is changing and our client is looking to help our customers benefit most from that change.

Through connected home technology and smart meter data our client is focussed on making life easier for our customers by enabling them through intelligent information provision delivering the control and support they need through via smartphone or mobile device technology. Based on the south coast, our client will be growing their team significantly over the coming months.

Our client is rolling out Smart Metering across all customers and building out their metering management function. In this role you will be principally taking responsibility and ownership for their metering function, and then continue to build out your role dependant on performance.
In this role, you will organise and manage our client’s metering activities, associated metering service contracts, and the roll-out of the SMART Metering programme with the customer at the centre of your decisions.This is whilst working in a rewarding, dynamic and agile environment with a progressive team who are redefining and disrupting the energy retail industry.

You will own all stakeholder relationships including: DCC, MAM, MOP and Smart Meter deployment programme. You will have the full support and assistance from the team but, based on your experience, you will be leading and proposing the direction of these activities and ensuring their smooth execution.

As a start-up, our client needs someone who can perform not only within this role, but can continue to build out their position within the company.

 

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who:
Takes ownership and cares passionately about customer experience
Is organised and can see things through to completion with energy and persistence.
What skills and experience you’ll need
Has a strong knowledge of NHH electricity and gas supply to domestic consumers
Has worked within a metering function, either on agent side or supply side.
Has experience with the SMART meter programme and the DCC
Previous roles that demonstrate diligence and responsibility and in this area.
