Our client is a multi-award winning, VC backed growth stage company focussing on developing broad solutions in the electric vehicle market. Having already established themselves as a key player in the vehicle charging infrastructure sector and as an electricity supplier we are now seeking a senior business developer to build partnerships and drive the growth in the “destination” sector of the market and position the company as a leader in the sector as we move towards the realisation of EV enabled energy balancing, aggregated demand response, energy flexibility, V2G etc.

This is a great opportunity for a strong sales person to take grow and lead this division and we are seeking someone who will easily make the transition to managing director.

Essential:

  • Proven B2B sales track record in the EV, Charging Infrastructure, Demand response or wider energy sector

  • Must be initiative - can identify customer's needs/ objectives and create deals that deliver value for both parties

  • Able to work autonomously as well as in a team

  • Will ideally bring great relationships with external parties (3rd parties, suppliers, installers) and be able to influence and drive these partners to deliver

  • Must be self motivated and passionate about the transition in the energy sector and on our roads 

  • Comfortable and able to thrive in a highly innovative start- up environment
