level. The role has a European wide responsibility and can be based in any country, assuming strong transportation and aviation links.

It is therefore important to have a broad understanding of the digital transition across the sector. Ideally you will have specialised in consulting or technology within one of the key areas such as Smart Metering Implementation, IT/OT Integration, Asset Optimisation, Demand Management, Distributed Energy Resource Management etc.

You will be an innovative thinker capable of shaping a value proposition and winning and delivering strategic transformation projects. You will have a passion for technology and the energy sector.

To thrive in this role, you will possess the following skills:

  • Expertise in the Transmission & Distribution sector in a number fo the following technologies: EMS, DMS, OMS, SCADA, MDMS, VPP, DERMS, GIS, Grid Cyber Security or Field Operations.

  • Ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner

  • Understanding of how business strategy shapes business and technology implementation programmes

  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information

  • Possess the ability to influence other people using logical fact-based arguments and persuasive skills / tactics

  • Desire to continually learn and improve own knowledge and understanding

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • An ability to inspire teams to deliver to a high standard in a suitable timeframe

  • A team player with the ability to coach and develop others

  • Be an innovative and analytical thinker

  • This will include winning complex value propositions and in delivering increasingly data driven projects and insights.

  • Fluent English and Spanish with other European languages nice to have.

THE ROLE

Working with the internal-sales team in the identification and market mapping of commercial clients selling innovative products into consumers and business

­Establishing, building and maintaining senior level relationships with customers, partners and ESCOs in the region

­Attending international trade events and advising attendees on the benefits of our client’s product offering

­Working closely with the sales director, reporting on activity within the region

Responsibile for sales and the commercial success of the territory

 

PROFILE

Demonstrable experience of successfully selling in the energy monitoring, or related industry with perferably a strong knowledge of the sub-metering market in Germany / Austria / Switzerland

Ideally degree qualified or with commensurate experience

We are seeking an innovation lead to take the helm of the SPV and the overall design leadership responsibility of solutions around vehicle to grid, demand response, home energy storage and market 2.0 for the end user consumer.

Naturally we would be very interested in speaking with thought leaders in this sector, keen to develop new models and revenue markets around this rapidly growing technology niche.

Ideally you will have a strong understanding of the current demand response mechanisms (DNO/DSO and National Grid) and how to structure DR products around this. SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, ENERGY STORAGE SOLUTIONS

We are pleased to be working with a recognised leader in the provision of Energy Flexibility solutions, Behind the Grid Storage, Demand Side services and battery storage projects. Continued success in the market has created the need to recruit a dynamic sales and business developer who will lead and deliver the energy storage growth trajectory.

Role:
The focus will be on working with the leading commercial & industrial energy users and prosumers across the UK with the aim of developing, market leading, battery management services and "behind the meter battery" energy storage projects. You will lead and own the entire sales process.
This will involve complex solution sales and project development. Solutions will range from the sale of storage control technology and battery management solutions right through to the successful delivery of storage projects from first principles and encompassing all aspects such as finance, technology, partnership and alliance management, commercial development and deal negotiation and closure.
You will almost certainly have a strong sales or project development background with a proven track record of selling technology and/or services to the large energy consumers. Examples include, but are by no means limited to, control & automation solutions, demand management solutions, onsite generation, energy management/efficiency solutions, energy supply services, switch-gear or infrastructure assets etc.
Previous experience of energy storage or battery engineering and project development would of course be advantageous.
We need a mature attitude, a passion for clean technology, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for work in a dynamic growth stage environment.
