  • Developing and managing CIO/CTO and other C-suite client relationships; advising and selling work through the relationships forged.
  • Undertaking sales origination, including working with internal teams in identifying opportunities to grow a successful practice.
  • Providing Program and Project Services focusing on ‘new IT’ methods and tools (e.g. Agile/ Scrum, DevOps, Design Thinking).
  • Advising our clients how to organise for a transformed enterprise architecture that harness cloud based solutions to enable the digital business
  • Be at the forefront of the Intelligent Enterprise; shaping and contributing to overall strategy and thought leadership for Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Miningand Chemical clients around large-scale IT transformation and next generation technologies

Required Capabilities

  • Proven ability to shape and lead IT transformation through provision of strategy, consulting, digital and technology and operations services in collaboration with our internal and external partners.
  • An ability to identify opportunities for value creation based on your deep understanding of Infrastructure transformation and optimisation, such as; data centre optimisation/ automation, Cloud implementations, Network/ Workplace/ Operations Transformations and Security Transformation including risk, Cyber security, and security analytics and Active Defence.
  • A passion and commitment to New Technologies in Infrastructure and/or security transformation and a drive to influence the way these are evolving and delivered.
  • An ability to challenge a client's thinking by diplomatically providing an objective and independent point of view.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences.
  • Experience of defining and delivery IT transformation strategy integrating ‘new’, next generation Technologies into organisations’ landscape.
  • Experience at leading complex programs and projects using new IT methods & tools (Agile/ DevOps/ Design thinking).
  • Understanding of the Resources industry (Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Natural Resources).
  • Clear understanding of key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry.

Base salary up to £75,000 for Consultant and to £90,000 for Manager level plus bonus, Car Allowance and industry leading benefits package

We are seeking a Principal / Management / Director level advisory consultant to provide strategic leadership in Asset Management across the Transmission and Distribution sector in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. You will be an innovative thinker capable of shaping a value proposition and winning and delivering strategic transformation projects. You will have a passion for technology and the energy sector.

The Asset Management space is a rapidly evolving area, experience in any of the following areas are heavily recognised:

  • Relevant consulting or business transformation experience in Asset Management
  • Enterprise Asset Management solutions such as SAP, Maximo or Oracle
  • Mobile solutions such as Syclo and ClickMobile an advantage
  • Data / Predictive Analytics
  • Implementation of process and target operating models across Transmission and Distribution clients
  • Ability to demonstrate operational content skills in utilities industry
  • Proven track record of leading / managing Asset Management projects successfully

Required Skills:

  • You have 3-10 years of relevant professional experience and/or consulting experience, typically within Asset Management operations and/or projects in the Energy industry
  • You have deep contextual understanding of Energy and Asset management, both from business and IT point of view
  • You connect well with IT and technology thorough your understanding of Digital technologies and solutions within Asset Management
  • You are familiar with one or more of the following areas: Asset management and/or operations experience from the Energy industry, Asset Strategy, Asset Investment Planning and Maintenance Policies, Enterprise Asset Management solutions and Project Portfolio Management Solutions, Asset Analytics and advanced maintenance strategies/condition-based maintenance, Asset modelling and information governance
  • With the desire to continually learn and improve own knowledge and understanding you are proactive, pragmatic and are able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent Swedish or Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
  • You have a relevant master degree within science or economy with good academic results. Applicants with bachelor degrees combined with extensive experience within the relevant field will also be considered.

Base salary up to 800K - 1.1 million SEK + bonus + Car Allowance and industry leading benefits package
