Key Responsibilities

  • Development of a quality assurance programme within the telesales sales channel

  • Ensuring compliance with SLC25 and the management risk register

  • Documentation of team performance using a variety of medium

  • Offering training and support to team member in the telesales team

  • Internal stakeholder engagement and relationship management

  • Ensuring compliance by third party service providers

Required Skills/Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the UK energy supply industry

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel)

  • Experience in analysing large data sets to recognise trends and preparing reports of findings

We are seeking to recruit a Regulations & Compliance officer on behalf of a  dynamic growth stage energy supply business who are recognised as one of the new breed of companies revolutionising our industry. As part of their continued growth, this role will report to the Head of Transformation and be responsible for working with all relevant departments internally and externally to ensure that business practices are compliant with industry standards.

We seek an energetic person with superb communication skills, great attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure and within tight deadlines. Above all, to be great at this role you’ll need to be able to collaborate with a wide range of people both personally and professionally.

You’ll provide the first point of contact for industry bodies such as Ofgem, BEIS and SECAS and should be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively manage these relationships and feed back relevant information into the business.

You will also take responsibility for preparing the business for implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and should therefore be comfortable with Data Protection standards and ISO27001 compliance.
