Our client is a household name in battery technology and energy storage and have been servicing the global markets in automotive and heavy transportation, consumer, medical and industrial applications for many years. In addition, our client has developed a range of home battery solutions for the domestic market with market leading charging cycle warranty and highly competitive cost per kWh.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned battery or renewable energy professional to lead the UK sales operation. You will be experienced in managing distribution/installer channels and be comfortable in providing sales leadership, mentoring and support to these partners. You will be the conduit between the market and the European head office and will as a result need to be a strong communicator and capable of bridging sales, engineering, business development, strategy and product management.

We are therefore keen to engage with candidates who can demonstrate strong sales success, account management, business development and channel management within the UK domestic renewable energy market.

THE ROLE

­   Working with the internal-sales team in the identification and market mapping of commercial clients selling innovative products into consumers and business

­   Establishing, building and maintaining senior level relationships with these ESCOs

­   Attending international trade events and advising attendees on the benefits of our client’s product offering

­   Working closely with the sales director, reporting on activity within the region

 

PROFILE

­   Demonstrable experience of successfully selling in the energy monitoring or related industry

­   Ideally degree qualified or with commensurate experience

­   A passion for new technology and the ability to explain the benefits of our client’s technology in non-technical terms

­   Strong communication skills

PROFILE

Demonstrable experience of successfully selling in the energy monitoring, or related industry with perferably a strong knowledge of the sub-metering market in Germany / Austria / Switzerland

Ideally degree qualified or with commensurate experience

A passion for new technology and the ability to explain the benefits of our client’s technology in non-technical terms

Strong communication skills
