Our client is a rapidly growing, ethical, energy supply business with a strong reputation in the UK and Europe as a provider of clean energy solutions and outstanding customer service. We are assisting them through a period of expansion and as part of this we are currently seeking to recruit an Energy Trader to join and support their Gas and Power Trading desk.


  • Support in managing a Portfolio of trading partners

  • Examine traders supply details, validated through our client’s ETRM system

  • Verify deals with counterparties and confirm the accuracy of trading information within the ETRM system

  • Rectify invoices, invoice counterparties within the agreed time limit

  • Negotiation of trading positions

  • Check transaction details for each deal

  • Examine and send using the ETRM system to the counterparties the confirmations, collect the details for each deal

  • Communication with both internal and external teams


  • 2+ years of experience in the Energy Market and Energy Trading

  • Previous experience in managing a portfolio of trading partners

  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Able to perform in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

  • Ability to perform in a team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics or relevant subject

  • Fluent in English

  • Exceptional MS Office, Bloomberg experience is required

  • ETRM knowledge would be ideal.

 Our client, an exciting, fast growth, energy supply company in London, is seeking to hire a Hedging/Forecasting Analyst experienced in the forecasting of UK electricity demand for their growing team

You will be required to accurately forecast the energy requirements of the business' portfolio and proactively manage the resulting commodity position, so experience in a similar role in the UK will be essential. 

The Role:

  • Monitoring and evaluating, forecasting performance for power

  • Reporting the hedge position for power

  • Identifying and managing risks associated with the forecast and hedge

  • Monitoring, developing and evaluating key demand forecasting assumptions

  • Managing forecasting data, liaising with stakeholders to improve data quality

Ideal Skill Sets And Experience

  • 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Strong academic background with a numerical/technical degree

  • Highly numerate with extensive analytical skill sets

  • Experienced in analysing large and complex data sets across multiple databases/sources

  • Advanced Excel with SAS/SQL advantageous

  • Excellent time management and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Engineer to join our growing team of experts dedicated to building the future of distributed energy trading. Ideally you will be deeply involved in Ethereum or Bitcoin open-source project development.

The ideal candidate will have circa 5+ years experience in developing complex applications and one or two years with Bitcoin and/or Ethereum platform development. We would like Solidity programming and languages like Java, Javascript or Python. You will also have a deep knowledge of cryptography and computer security. You must be fluent in English with German an advantage.
